Thank you all for subscribing and for your continued interest in the content at Judex. Based on subscriber feedback and interaction, I am making a couple of changes I hope will be improvements.
I am discontinuing the From around the internet column. I never really like that name anyway but couldn’t think of anything else to call it. The original idea for the feature was give you short blubs about recent happenings related to the conservative judiciary. I wanted to provide items you could easily digest with links to more in-depth information on those topics if you wanted to click through. Over time, the column has evolved into me writing long form pieces, mostly about court cases. I want to get back to the original concept. So, the Friday column will now be called Briefs, a name that will help me stay focused on the goal. Briefs will include a paragraph or two on recent issues, short thoughts I may have on particular topics, links to interesting articles, and other miscellaneous items. My hope is it will be more digestible for you.
As for the long-form deep dives on court cases, I will still be doing those, but will place them in the intermittent Wednesday columns where I have been featuring my original writing. Monday will continue to be the quote of the week so you start your week off right.
I hope this new arrangement provides a better experience for you. As I said when I started this, it will be a work in progress. I welcome your feedback to make it better. I am immensely humbled and grateful that you take the time to read my work.
Thank you,
Dustin
Looking forward to Friday's edition.
